Two months after the sensational Dev Day announcement followed by Sam Altman's and OpenAI's tango, the much-anticipated GPT Store has finally been launched!
With a whopping 3 million custom versions of ChatGPT built already, the GPT store is not only a good revenue stream for OpenAI (you need to be a paying member in order to browse or create the GPTs) but also a good smorgasbord of options. From romantic partners that will never forget anniversaries, financial and technical advisors that will guide you through every step and even astrologers predicting your good and bad days, the store has it all covered!
Now the burning question, are they any good? Lets just say that you will need to carefully sift through the endless possibilities. Some of the GPTs are actually very good and the store features the curated picks. I tried Diagrams amongst a few and it took my query and neatly presented easy-to-digest flow charts.
Caveat: The ChatGPT limitations of questionable accuracies and biases extend to the store.
